When Darlene Janeiro left her stable and increasingly successful career as a civil servant, she embraced a path of entrepreneurship fuelled by her passion for design and creating beautiful spaces … and never looked back.
Fast-forward 16 years and Darlene Janeiro, Principal of Darlene Janeiro Design, has charted her own unique course founding both an award-winning design studio and a bespoke, one-of-a-kind retail shop—all from her coveted downtown Oakville location.
From a one-woman décor/furnishings showroom business based out of her home to a mid-size nimble design firm successfully executing the full gamut of residential, commercial and hospitality projects, Darlene is a consummate professional known for her breadth of knowledge in the industry and her natural propensity for consistently cultivating meaningful and authentic relationships. The outcome? Darlene Janeiro Design is synonymous with offering seamless white-glove service, ensuring all clients’ needs are heard and heeded to—that means delivering standout spaces that elevate yet reflect the client’s wish list and vision.
